Is it really free forever?

Yes. The free plan uses a local model that runs on your machine. No credit card, no trial period — just download and use.

Does it work without internet?

The free plan works 100% offline. Pro and Max plans need internet to reach our cloud models, but you can always fall back to local mode.

Can I use my own trained model?

Yes! Any GGUF format model works. Click "Browse GGUF" in the Models tab and pick your file. This works on the free plan too.

What languages does it support?

Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, Go, Rust, Java, C/C++, SQL, and more. Especially strong on the Indian startup stack: Django, Flutter, React, Node.js, Supabase, Razorpay.

How is this different from GitHub Copilot?

CodeForge works offline, is cheaper, and lets you load your own custom models. Copilot always sends your code to Microsoft servers. With CodeForge free plan, nothing leaves your machine.
